gThe Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition is administered jointly by the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the College of Natural Science. 

The graduate curriculum offers masters of science and doctor of philosophy degree programs in food science through the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources as well as in human nutrition through both the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and College of Natural Sciences. 

The department also offers a Dietetic Internship Program that prepares its graduates to become dietitians in state-of-the-art practice, within diverse and challenging healthcare, food service and entrepreneurial positions.
