Enrollment in the dietetics major is limited. The Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics is a professional degree which requires acceptance into a competitive internship in oreder to complete the requirements for eligibility to take the registered dietitian examination. A minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5 is necessary to be consider for admission but does not guarantee admission. Juniors and seniors who wish to be considered for admission to the dietetics major may complete an application for admission review. Exception: Students who entered the dietetics program before Fall 2007, including freshmen and sophomores, will not be held to the new requirement.
